ST Telemedia Re-launches Website And Debuts 20th Anniversary Logo

ST Telemedia has re-launched its
corporate website featuring new panoramic visuals, refreshed and richer content including a brand new section, and a streamlined information architecture.
The revamped website’s enhanced visitor experience includes a prominent display of ST Telemedia value proposition and core competencies on the home page, enabling first-time visitors to know what ST Telemedia offers quickly. The new section on ST Telemedia’s five core competencies showcases our diverse and deep industry experience and expertise.
ST Telemedia also unveiled a
custom logo ’Celebrating 20 Years’ to commemorate our 20th anniversary. The angular, multi-coloured logo represents the
dynamism of the company transforming and reinventing itself through the years. The anniversary logo will be used across a variety of company touch points throughout this year.

StarHub Unveils MediaHub For Future Business and Innovation
StarHub has unveiled MediaHub, an innovative and convergence hub for its fixed, mobile and pay TV networks. The groundbreaking ceremony, graced by Singapore’s Minister for Communications and Information, Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, was attended by over 200 guests. Located at one-north, a 200-hectare business park in Buona Vista, MediaHub will also house a social media analytics lab and an adaptive production studio to enhance ’live’ TV production; and a state-of-the-art business data centre.

StarHub Climbs Up Ranking of World’s 100 Most Sustainable Companies

ST Teleport Wins Fleet Contract with Wellard Ships
ST Teleport recently won a contract to manage the communications for Wellard Ships’ entire fleet. ST Teleport’s latest in-house developed product “Nautical Portal” enables the customer to monitor vessels’ usage and location from clients’ offices. Apart from the Nautical platform, ST Teleport is also providing a full turnkey communications solution including design, consultation and implementation of stabilised antenna onboard their vessels, as well as post-sales services of monitoring and round-the-clock troubleshooting support. |

U Mobile Brings Faster, Unlimited Mobile Internet with 4G LTE Services
U Mobile announced the availability of its Long Term Evolution (LTE) or 4G internet service, which offers customers high speed mobile internet of up to 75 mbps at best value rates. The company is one of the first telcos in Malaysia to offer 4G LTE services to prepaid subscribers.

Asia Mobile Holdings Sponsors the 5th Lao-Singapore Friendship Charity Run in Vientiane
For the fourth time, Asia Mobile Holdings sponsored the 5th Lao-Singapore Friendship Charity Run on 7 December 2013. Jointly organised by the Singapore Embassy in Vientiane and the Lao Women’s Union (LWU), the run raised about 160 million Kip which will be channelled to vocational training and equipment for disadvantaged women at LWU’s Vocational Training Centre in Vientiane and elsewhere to empower these women for alternative livelihoods. Mrs. Pany Yathotou, President of the National Assembly of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, flagged off the charity run together with Ambasasdor Kang Siew Kheng, Singapore’s Ambassador to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. |

ST Telemedia Supports MDAS Compass Programme for 2014
ST Telemedia has adopted a year-long social programme of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore) (MDAS) as part of our CSR involvement for 2014. Titled ’ST Telemedia-Compass’, the programme is a social platform for MDAS’ children and teenage members
with Muscular Dystrophy, a genetic disorder.
Activities organised are aimed at improving members’ motor skills through fun activities and to build up their self esteem and confidence in communication and social skills.

SkyCable Lifts Spirits with Free Viewing Stations Post Typhoon
Sky Cable has set up free viewing stations in 10 regional areas in the Philippines for affected communities in relief and evacuation centre immediately after Typhoon Yolanda struck so that people in the Typhoon-affected areas will have access to information and entertainment. The company also raised funds and in-kind donations through Sagip Kapamilya, an emergency humanitarian assistance programme of ABS-CBN Foundation. Employees of Sky Cable also volunteered their weekend to provide assistance in the repacking efforts at the Sagip Kapamilya warehouses. |
